Dr Helen Burgess (f)
Dr Helen Burgess has been a GP partner at Ladybarn Group Practice since 1988, taking over from her father, Dr Peter Burgess, when he retired.

She is also a member of the executive committee of South Manchester PCT, the organisation responsible for the provision of healthcare services in South Manchester. She has a particular interest in medicines management and is prescribing lead GP on South Manchester PCT.

Dr Burgess lives locally and is married with two children.
Dr Jullien Walkley (m)
I qualified in medicine in 1984 from Manchester University. Junior jobs took me to Derby where I met my wife, Jo. We married in 1987 and have three children.

I joined Ladybarn Group Practice in 1992 and have been here ever since. I have special interests in treatment of people with drug and alcohol problems, Ear, Nose & Throat illnesses and I do some of the minor surgery at Ladybarn.
Dr Clare Ronalds (f)
Dr Clare Ronalds joined Ladybarn Group Practice in January 1995, as a partner, taking over from Dr Stanley Goodman as the practice GP trainer. She has been delighted to train a new GP each year ever since.

From 1981-1995 she was a GP principal at the Robert Darbishire Practice in Rusholme and a lecturer in General Practice at the University of Manchester, where she taught medical students and researched the outcome of anxiety and depression.

She was lead GP for the Ladybarn Group Practice new premises development and leads the practice diabetes and palliative care service.

In April 2005 she was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal college of General Practitioners (FRCGP).
Dr David Adams-Strump (m)
Dr Adams-Strump qualified from Manchester University in 2004. He completed his Gp training in Salford before joining Ladybarn Group Practice as a Partner in 2010.
He has an interest in paediatrics and helps run the baby clinic.
Dr Adams-Strump is also responsible for the medical students at the Practice.
Dr Joan O'Connor (f)
Dr O'Connor qualified in 1990 from Manchester University. She joined Ladybarn Group Practice in 1997, does some of the minor surgery and also helps run the Diabetic Clinic at the practice.

She also works as a GPSI in Dermatology.
